32 Annual Orange County Police Canine Association Show

The OCPCA K‑9 Demonstration Show—a lively family-friendly fundraiser showcasing the remarkable training and skills of Orange County’s law enforcement K‑9 teams. The demonstration highlights obedience, agility, apprehension, handler protection, as well as explosive and narcotic detection capabilities!

The Orange County Police Canine Association (OCPCA) is a 501(c)(c) non-profit organization made up of municipal police agencies from across Orange County. Its mission is to raise funds that directly support law enforcement K-9 units through ongoing training, purchasing specialized equipment, and providing additional resources beyond standard department budgets. As a non-profit, OCPCA also works to strengthen the bond between the community and local law enforcement by hosting events like the annual K-9 Show, where families can see firsthand the dedication and skill of police service dogs and their handlers.

Before the main event begins, explore booths featuring unique vendor goods and sponsor displays, then head over to watch exciting SWAT demonstrations and detection K-9 demos up close. While you’re there, grab a bite from one of the on-site food trucks offering plenty of options for the whole family.

Don’t miss the crowd-favorite “Toughest Dog Competition,” where K-9s and their handlers push their limits in thrilling head-to-head challenges.

Adding to the action, our Air Support Unit will deliver an incredible presentation from above, giving the audience a unique look at how air and ground resources work together in law enforcement.

The night will conclude with a state-of-the-art drone show, lighting up the Irvine sky with a dazzling grand finale that celebrates our K-9s, our officers, and our community.
