Directed by Fort Wayne Philharmonic musician Emelinda Acosta, this camp celebrates its 31st summer of inspiring young string players. Designed for violin, viola, cello, and bass students with at least two years of instruction, the camp features full string orchestra, chamber ensembles, and skill-building group classes. Students are coached by professional Philharmonic musicians—including former camp director Marcy Trentacosti. In just one week, students learn new repertoire while strengthening technique and musicianship in a supportive, motivating environment. The week concludes with a culminating recital showcasing the progress and teamwork students build through playing together. Monday, June 22–Friday, June 26 9 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Purdue Fort Wayne Music Center $325
