This event is FREE and open to people of all ages.
Be a part of the rich history of Central Avenue, experience 3 Stages, 4 Pavilions on Central Avenue between Martin Luther King Blvd and Vernon Ave.
This celebration of Straight Ahead Jazz, opens the doors to the Historic Dunbar Hotel. Built by the Somervilles, the first African American Community to graduate from USC’s School of Dentistry. Their legacy lives on with USC’s Jazz Ensemble. Performing where the likes of W.E.B Dubois, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and Lena Horne stayed, played and created.
This year, our lineup celebrates the diaspora with over 12 artists gracing the stages. We hope to see you there.

- Tent and vendor hours may differ from the actual festival hours
- We reserve the right to remove any person(s) who is disorderly and/or interferes with the enjoyment of the festival for other festival-goers.
- Coolers and chairs cannot obstruct walkways.
- The Central Avenue Jazz Festival allows only the service animals of disabled persons to enter the festival grounds. Service animal owners will be responsible for any damage or injuries that the animal causes. Service animals must remain with the owner at all times and must remain on-leash through the festival grounds.

ARTS PAVILION 12TH ANNIVERSARY
Info: Curated by La Mancha, the arts pavilion is a vibrant celebration of the community’s artistic talent, featuring a curated selection of works from some of the most innovative artists in the area. Launched in 2014, the Pavilion was designed to bridge the gap between jazz and visual art, showcasing works from renowned local artists who draw inspiration from jazz culture.

PUBLIC RESOURCE PAVILION
Info: Representatives from the City of Los Angeles, county and state will be onsite to offer and distribute valuable information and resources and related services.

HEALTH & WELLNESS PAVILION
Info: The festival aims to empower the community and elevate the importance of
healthy living. A variety of free and confidential health and dental screenings for
children and adults, as well as, guides for a healthy lifestyle and preventative
health tips will be available at the festival.

Info: In the heart of the festival grounds at Central Avenue Jazz Park the festival will feature arts & crafts, games, interactive musical activities, educational demonstrations, and much more.
