314 Spelling Buzzed is a high-energy, crowd-interactive spelling showdown where confidence matters more than correctness and the audience is encouraged to heckle (lovingly). This is not a traditional spelling bee. It’s louder. It’s sillier. And it’s fueled by drinks, DJs, and questionable decisions.

THE FORMAT

25 contestants

5 competitive rounds

Audience mini-games between rounds

Comedy, chaos, and crowd judging encouraged

Contestants will spell words, define them incorrectly, sell them like bad infomercials, and survive head-to-head spelling duels, all while the crowd cheers, distracts, and decides their fate.

3 local celebrity judges (to be announced)

Judges will help decide winners based on spelling, creativity, confidence, and overall chaos.

PRIZES

1st Place: $250 winner pot

2nd Place: $100 gift card

3rd Place: $50 gift card

Plus bragging rights and a very official (and very silly) Spelling Buzzed certificate.

First come, first served

Spectators are welcome. No ticket required to watch.

SCHEDULE

Doors & drinks: 6:30PM

Game starts promptly at 7:00PM

DJ Shawn Pellegrino will play until 10:00PM

IMPORTANT NOTES

This is a skill-based, performance game, not a traditional bingo or raffle.

You don’t need to be a spelling genius to win. There are redemption rounds. 

You do need a sense of humor.

Must be 21+ to compete.
