31 on 31 is a new tradition I started in 2021, we run 31 miles on the 31st of December. It is a wonderful way to end the old year and pre-begin the new year.All are invited to join in - it is a just a bunch of friends getting together to run some miles.
We will run TEN 5K loops around Whiting Reservoir. We'll park at 104 Easthampton Road in Holyoke, MA (across from the black iron gates). We START running at 7am, so get there early to park, gather your stuff and walk the 1/2 mile to the official starting spot.
While, I'd love to see all my friends there, here are a few friendly reminders (1) please don't come if you aren't feeling well. (2) get there early to park so you can walk with us down to the start area. (3) bring water & nutrition for the distance you plan on going (4) join in whenever you want, we are starting at 7am. Each loop takes approximately 32 minutes, so if you want to come later time it right OR start running the course in the opposite direction until you find us.
