Fresh from securing a government commitment during the Second Reading of the Representation of the People Bill on 2 March to restore the independence of the Electoral Commission, Unlock Democracy will share how this campaign was planned, delivered, and ultimately won.
This practical workshop will explore the key elements of the campaign, including:
- Lobbying parliamentarians effectively
- Developing and delivering impactful media activity
- Planning and running successful events in Parliament
- Building momentum and influencing decision-makers throughout the legislative process
Drawing on first-hand experience, the session will provide valuable insights into the strategies, tactics, and lessons that contributed to a successful parliamentary campaign.
