Dear Tang Soo Do Studio Owners, Masters and Instructors, AssociateI hope this letter finds you in all good health and spirits. It is with great enthusiasm and respect that on behalf of the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association, Inc., I welcome you to the 30th Annual All Tang Soo Do National Championships. The Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association, Inc., has always valued our many friendships and relationships as a way to improve our understanding of each other. By fostering friendly, respectful associations and connections through healthy competition we have built bridges among our membership and participating dojangs that have endured for the past 3 decades. As a result of these efforts and dedication to these goals, many members have forged life-long friendships that spanned the entire country.
It is our desire that everyone has a safe and rewarding competition and my hope is that old friendships will be enhanced, and new ones made. This year’s event will be held from Thursday, July 11th through Saturday July 13th. The championships venue will be at the Stamford Marriott Hotel and Spa, 243 Tresser Boulevard, Stamford, CT. Why not plan your East Coast vacation around this year’s nationals? There will be no shortage of things to do as Stamford is centrally located between New York City, the beautiful CT shoreline, and Boston, MA. There are many culturally and socially enjoyable local activities that you and your family can participate in. For example, you can tour the famous Yale University Campus just 30 minutes from Stamford. For shop-a-holics, there is the Stamford Town Center, considered by many to be a shopper's utopia. There are a variety of live syndicated tabloid talk shows located right in Stamford, tickets are usually free (see hotel concierge). Dining in Stamford is top notch as there are a plethora of ethnic eateries to satisfy even the most particular of tastes.
For those who want to go to New York City for sight-seeing, to see a Broadway Show, or to simply enjoy the NYC nightlife, it is as easy as taking the train from Stamford to Grand Central Station where you can walk around NYC at your own leisure and visit all historical sites such as New York’s Rockefeller Center, Battery Park, The Statue of Liberty, The Empire State Building, famous “China Town”, the 9/11 Memorial and finish the night by having dinner at one of the famous restaurants in “Little Italy”
You will not want to miss the exciting educational and informative clinics that will be held on Thursday afternoon. Competition will be held over two days. All Weapon and Form Competition and Team Forms will be held on Friday and sparring / Team sparring will be held on Saturday. We will finish our event and say our goodbyes with an awards banquet on Saturday evening

Online Registration is highly recommended as discounts will be available. The online registration will be activated by May 2024. If you decide to register by application, please be certain to fill out only ONE registration per competitor. Dan Competitors may only compete in one empty hand form division, they may choose between either the Traditional Form or Chil Sung Form Division. Additionally, dans may compete in one weapon division. You will be able to register at the TSDMGK website at www.tsdmgk.com
