In a crumbling old house in a narrow lane in Old Delhi, memories, jokes, heartbreak, and rivalries unfold between its eccentric inhabitants. As siblings debate inheritance and lovers dream of escape, the gully is engulfed by the fragrance of nalli nihari and nostalgia. A fading community clings to its history even as it grapples with change. This is a funny and tender portrait of a neighbourhood—and a nation—struggling to hold on.
