Our Teacher Training is recognized by the World Yoga Federation This international organization recognizes JBRYS as an authentic yoga and yoga education provider. Additionally, Yoga Alliance has approved all of our teacher training programs and we are in compliance with their elevated standards. This comprehensive 300-hour training is focused on providing teachers with a toolbox of information that will allow them to teach to various populations and special circumstances the focus of this training is teaching people, not poses. Taking the knowledge gained at the 200-hour level of asanas and making it apply to the individual student. Customizing the practice for students depending on their needs.
This training aims to build upon the foundation begun at the 200-hour level and broaden and deepen teachers' understanding of not only the physical aspects of yoga but the philosophical ones.
To broaden the understanding that the science of yoga is much more than the physical asanas. by introducing in-depth studies of pranayama and meditation and philosophy and more, trainees will be able to discover these deeper aspects.
What You will learn:
200-hour Review
Advanced A&P
To gain an in-depth understanding of body mechanics and the differences from one student to the next. For teachers to better understand that not all asanas look the same on all bodies and why.
Advanced Props, Mods & Assists
to learn advanced propping, modifications, and advanced assists as well as deal with special circumstances
Advanced Study of the Yoga Sutras
To broaden the understanding of all the books or padas of the Yoga Sutras beyond simply the 8 limbs, introduce the philosophy contained within the rest of the sutras and be able to relate the philosophy to yoga practice and life.
Advanced Study of the Chakras
To provide an in-depth, intellectual exploration of the 7-chakra system and include information about other chakra systems throughout the world. To broaden the understanding of the chakra system beyond what was covered at the 200-hour level and for trainees to be able to apply yoga; meditation and other exercises to work with the individual chakras and overall chakra system.
Advanced Meditation
To broaden the knowledge and understanding of meditation beyond that learned at the 200-hour level and introduce new techniques and applications for teaching meditation to students and including in yoga practice.
Advanced Pranayama
To broaden the knowledge and understanding of pranayama beyond that learned at the 200-hour level and introduce new techniques and applications for teaching to students and including in yoga practice. Giving trainees a deeper understanding of the respiratory system. Trainees will have a deep understanding of the limb of pranayama.

Practicum/Practicing & Observing
To practice teaching with the more advanced knowledge and information gained at the 300-hour level, refining what gained at the 200-hour level and applying it to their teaching. Through peer and facilitator feedback, trainees can build on their strengths and gain assistance in areas where they need to.
Practicum
Teaching Methodology
To apply the information learned throughout the training and apply it to specific individuals and special populations. A review of the principles of demonstration, assisting, adjusting, and correcting will be included.
Electives
To expose teachers to other methods and topics not covered in 300 training that can supplement the knowledge gained during the training
