About this Event
The 3-Week Creative Workshop is an in-person lab for NYC solo performers, comedians, storytellers, and multidisciplinary artists developing new material.
About the Lab
Bring up to 20 minutes of raw, unrefined solo work to a private rehearsal studio in Manhattan. Over three consecutive Sundays (skipping the 29th for Thanksgiving weekend), you’ll test fresh ideas and build momentum before the end of the year. Work may include brand-new pages, character sketches, stand-up bits, script reading, dance, or narrative solo sections.
What to Expect
- Dedicated floor time: 20 minutes to present your material each session.
- Accountability: Hard deadlines and a committed cohort of fellow multidisciplinary creators.
Dates & Location
- When: Sundays, Nov 15, Nov 22, and Dec 6, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
- Where: Stella Adler on 65 Broadway
- Capacity: Strictly limited to 6 artists to ensure ample floor time for everyone.
