Question: I'm new to dancing, but I'm not new to watching fotball 😏 Can I join the party, mostly watch the fotball game and hang out with friends, and perhaps get a glimpse of what the dancing is like?
Answer: YES! This is probably the best place ever for exactly this combo 🥰
ℹ️ WHAT’S THE CONCEPT?
This is a place to dance both if you’re a beginner who wants to explore what these social partner dances are all about, as well as if you’re an experienced dancer looking for your favorite dancefloor and music!
Our experienced dancers love guiding beginners and welcome new people into the world of dance, so that everyone has a great time.
No partner needed. Come as you are, solo, with a friend, the gang, your parents or grandma. Everyone is welcome!
Kick off the night with the pre-social workshops! This time we’ll have an extra focus on bachata with a 2 hour bootcamp (no salsa or zouk workshops).
We’ll be rotating partners throughout the workshops, so it’s a great chance to both learn some new dance moves, warm up for the social, and to get to know new people.
Indoor shoes are appreciated to keep the studio as clean as possible. No need for special dance shoes, but comfy sneakers are perfectly fine.
No need to register, just show up & pay with Vipps at the door.

🕗 19:00-20:00 Workshop 1: Dominican bachata (footwork & partner work) with Mona Eide, a specialist in Dominican bachata, who’s normally living and teaching in France! 🔥
🕗 20:00-21:00 Workshop 2: Bachata sensual partner work with pro Jack & Jill winner Alex Savenkov from Vienna, Austria & Kristina Žaper, founder of LaTina Dance studio in Zagreb, Croatia! 🔥
Both workshops are on Open/Intermediate level, to give dancers on all levels something useful for your social dancing.

🍹 You’re allowed to bring your own drinks and snacks, and there will also be ice cold soft drinks for sale. Please make sure to keep the studio nice and clean 🤝

From 19:00: 270 NOK (2 workshops + social dance party)
From 20:00: 220 NOK (1 workshop + social dance party)
From 21:00: 150 NOK (social dance party/World cup game)

Room 1: DJ Tron - Expect a mix of the latest bachata sensual hits, plus a few carefully selected bachazouk, fusion and Dominican bachatas!
Room 2: DJ Armand - Salsa mix, cuban, romantica, timba etc!
Room 3: DJ Rolf Anders, with a good mix of zouk music.

The party takes place on the two upper floors of the building Møllergata 9, where Contigo and other dance schools have their studios. The venue has recently been beautifully renovated and features multiple dancefloors as well as multiple cozy lounge areas where you can relax, hang out, and recharge between dances.
