WHAT TO EXPECT
Circular business models come with their own set of unique challenges – and they go way beyond product design or finding product-market fit.
This talk dives into the realities of building a startup in the circular economy: from system design and logistics to financial modeling investor relations and internal structures.
Together with Angelique Thummerer we’ll explore what it really takes to build circular businesses from the ground up. As co-founder of TURNS a startup based in Ansbach she’s enabling fiber-to-fiber recycling of used textiles – helping companies turn post-consumer waste into high-quality fibers and giving it new economic value.
Expect honest insights and a fresh perspective on circular entrepreneurship.
SPEAKER
Angelique Thummerer studied IT and communication systems at FAU and co-founded TURNS a startup focused on textile circularity. With fiber-to-fiber recycling technology TURNS helps businesses return used garments into the cycle – and transform them into valuable high-quality fibers.
