3 day Horsemanship clinic with renown clinician Carson James. This is appropriate for all levels of riders beginners to advanced. We highly recommend you be able to walk, trot, and lope your horse. This will be a ground to saddle weekend. We will cover all aspects including but not limited to: How changing 4 simple things will eliminate problems like:bucking,
spooking,
buddy sour,
aggressiveness,
not paying attention,
biting, and much much more.
It's not "WHAT" you ask your horse to do, It's "HOW" you ask your horse to do it"

The clinic will cover the following:
This is just a basic outline, but just like horses, no two clinics are the same.
-Groundwork
-Rein management (being able to adjust your hands and reins for what you are trying to achieve)
-Backing and how to improve it, Gaining refined control of the feet (the key to gaining access into your horse's mind)
-Learning how timing causes the horse to WANT to do what your asking
-Getting lateral control of the front and hind end individually
-Side passing
-Speed transitions (only as fast as you are comfortable with)
-Stops and how to improve them
-How to create lightness
-Making your horse reliable
It is appropriate for all levels and all disciplines as it is foundational and polish work. We generally include an obstacle clinic and the last day work on fire, sirens smoke etc to put what we have learned to practice. It is all fluid but lots of fun. We do 2 sessions so usually a max of about 10 per group. People ride 2 hours and watch 2 hours and then a lunch break and same again in the afternoon. This has proven to work really really well as the horses soak in what has been taught during their break and don't seem to get so over stimulated. People seem to really like this set up. There will be a food truck present on site for breakfast and lunch and we hwill have a photographer present as well for group and personal photos that will be available for purchase. $900 for 3 full days of personalized assistance from Carson. $450 non redundable deposit due to hold your spot with the remaining balance due by Dec 31. aa of Jan 1, 2025 thebproce will increase to $950 and full amount will be due at the time of booking. Stalls are available for $30 per night and overnight dry camping is available on site and will be included with a rider spot. No refunds are available however all will be done to help fill your spot if an unforseen circumstance arises and you are unavailable to attend.
If you want to come watch and learn without your horse auditors welcome for $30 per day or $25 if prepaid.
