Workshop Overview:
In just 3 days, you'll learn how to confidently use your camera manually and start taking the photos you've always wanted. This workshop is designed for beginners who want to move beyond automatic settings and take control of their photography.
Dates:
Saturday 16th Nov, Sunday 17th Nov and Saturday 23rd November
Location:
Mt Maunganui Venue for the first 2 dates and then a location we all choose together.
Time:
3 hours each day, Saturday 16th: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
Sunday 17th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in Papamoa Location.
Saturday 23rd we will meet at 5:00 pm at the selected location.

Instructor:
Coni Flores is a Tauranga-based professional photographer with a love for nature, hiking, and travelling. Her passion for photography led her across Asia, where she pursued creative projects that were later exhibited in New Zealand.
With a teaching background and a bachelor’s degree in primary education, Coni founded The Wanderer Photographer to share her expertise. She offers workshops and private lessons in the Bay of Plenty, helping photographers of all levels develop their skills. Coni’s commitment to capturing life’s beauty and teaching others continues to inspire aspiring photographers on their creative journeys.
Workshop Schedule:
Day 1: Composition, Camera Buttons, and Getting Sharp Photos
Duration: 3 hours
Learn the basics of composition to create visually appealing photos.
Get to know your camera buttons and settings.
Tips and techniques to ensure your photos are always sharp.
Day 2: Learning Manual Mode
Duration: 3 hours
Dive into manual mode and understand how to control aperture, shutter speed, and ISO.
Practice using these settings to achieve the desired exposure and effects.
Day 3: Day Out Practicing
Duration: 3 hours
A practical day out where the group will choose a location to apply what you've learned.
Real-time guidance and feedback to improve your technique on the spot.
Learning Resources:
Community Group: Access a supportive online community where you can ask questions and get answers from the instructor. All questions and answers will be visible to everyone, fostering collaborative learning.
Online Courses/Videos: Gain access to online courses and videos that cover the same content as the classes. These resources are available for the duration of the course, allowing you to revisit and refresh your knowledge whenever needed.
Notes: Comprehensive notes covering all topics discussed during the workshop will be provided. These notes will serve as a valuable reference to reinforce your learning.
Completion Diploma:
