Join us for a whirlwind adventure to New Orleans to celebrate the Mardi Gras!Day 1- We depart Knoxville (Walmart, 3051 Kinzel Way) at 9pm then Farragut (Cracker Barrel, Campbell Station) at 10pm to head south to the Crescent City. We will stop outside the city to freshen up for the day before dropping off in the quarter.
Day 2- We arrive in the French Quarter of New Orleans by 8amct to grab beignets at the famous Café Du Monde. You have until 9pm to enjoy all that New Orleans and Mardi Gras has to offer beginning with the Krewe of Iris uptown at 11am followed by the Krewe of Tucks. While viewing the Krewe of Tucks be on the look out for their prized hand decorated toilet bowl brush throw! Next head to mid-city for the largest carnival parade with 37 floats and 3,200 riders, Krewe of Endymion!, beginning at 4:15pm. Last but not least, grab a delicious dinner and head back to the bus for departure at 9pmct. We will again stop outside the city to change clothes before continuing home.
Day 3- We arrive back to Knoxville by 11am.
Cost Per Person: $250
Deposit of $50 per person due upon registration with remaining balance by Friday, January 24th.
