About this Event

Thinking About Becoming a Teaching Assistant? Start Here.

If you would love to work in a school but you're not sure where to start, our 3-Day Fast-Track Teaching Assistant Training is designed to help you take that first step.

Over three practical days, you'll learn what it's really like to support children in a UK primary school. We'll cover the National Curriculum, classroom and behaviour management, safeguarding, SEND, supporting small groups, and the practical skills you need to feel more confident stepping into a classroom.

We'll also help you prepare for the next step, with an education-focused CV and practical interview preparation for Teaching Assistant roles.

The training is led by an experienced, UK-qualified teacher who has spent many years teaching in Cambridge schools, so the focus is practical, relevant and based on real classroom experience.

This course is ideal for career changers, graduates, parents returning to work, or anyone considering a move into education.

Training takes place at Cambridge Skills Hub on King Street in Cambridge City Centre, with just 12 places available to keep the sessions practical and personal.
