About this Event

Ever wondered what it’s like to paint with light, create one-of-a-kind prints without a camera, or make gallery-quality photographs in a darkroom? This 3-day summer camp at Dako Darkroom is your chance to dive into the depth and range of analog photography, whether you’re a complete beginner, a curious artist, or a seasoned photographer looking to refine your craft.

In these intimate sessions (maximum 4 participants), we’ll explore the possibilities of darkroom photography, from photograms and chemigrams to advanced printing techniques and eco-friendly practices. Each day is designed to be hands-on, experimental, and deeply personal, giving you the space to explore, learn, and create.

We’re not just focused on the final prints, we’re here to celebrate the process. Whether that’s experimenting with light and chemistry, refining your printing skills, or discovering how to make your darkroom practice more sustainable, this workshop is about the joy of making.

Each day will begin from 10am till 4pm with a lunch break, however lunch will not be provided.
