About this Event
Experience 3 Blind Mice, a bold new pilot created by rising Baltimore filmmaker Imani Nia Robinson. This Baltimore-based story highlights the complexities of Black identity and how HBCUs and community building play into the character's self-discovery journey. A New York Times Journalist review described the project as a “Rollicking, confident, energetic, funny and heartfelt pilot. The thing nearly jumped off the screen. The theater was riveted.”
Synopsis
Naeemah, a young Black woman who was adopted by a White couple and raised in an all White environment her entire life, makes an effort to learn more about her past, and transfers to an HBCU in Baltimore and meets two young black women who help guide her during her transition.
