Soul Sundays is a gentle ignition.

A soft glow to begin the week. A place where winery and wellness meet not to perform, but to restore. On Sundays, we slow the room down on purpose—creating space to arrive fully, to breathe, and to be present with ourselves and with one another.

Soul Sundays is about gathering in ways that nourish the soul and strengthen community. Each experience is guided by a trusted partner and offered as an open invitation. These gatherings are not about doing or achieving, but about remembering—through rhythm, movement, sound, or stillness—what it feels like to be grounded, connected, and human together.

We honor the body first. Then we close our time together with a shared glass of wine—letting the moment settle. 🍷

Founder of Ugata: drum and dance, Lawrence has been offering drum classes and workshops across Southern Ohio and Appalachia for nearly 25 years. From his home at Livity Sanctuary in Athens County, his work centers on bringing people together—using rhythm as a bridge for connection and a way to align with something larger than ourselves.

Through traditional rhythms, free play, and facilitated drum games, Lawrence creates a welcoming, grounded space where participants are invited to listen, play, and move together. This guided drum circle is suitable for both beginners and experienced drummers, emphasizing the shared rhythm, presence, and collective energy.

⚠️ Capacity Note: Participation is limited to 10 guests if drums are provided. Bringing your own drum allows us to welcome more participants.

Cost: $25 per session

Cost includes drum instruction and one glass of wine.
