2v2 AIRSOFT TOURNAMENT
$125 per team or $70 entry per player, up to a 3 man roster. Arrive at 8PM for Team Matchmaking and food from By the Bucket Gilbert available to anyone at the Tournament. Donations Prize Pool provided by Sponsors and Participants. Tracer BBs must be house BBs and can be purchased at event.
FORMAT SEQUENCE
2 teams, 2 players teams. Flag Points, Bracket format. Top 4 teams with the most Points go to Finals. Each match is 4 rounds. Each round is 3 minutes and ends when the time expires or a team hangs designated flag. Each team will start at a breakout wall, guns must be touching start gate. Lead referee will give a 10 second game warning, match will start and end with siren.
SCORING AND POINTS
Official Tournament Rules will be available at VIP. Total round Points determine the winner of the Tournament Finals. The team with the most Points after 4 rounds wins the match. For any tie, each team picks one player for a 1v1 Sudden Death. A 1v1 Sudden Death round is a pure gunfight, no flags, 60 sec round. The wining objective is to touch the opposing team’s gate. If time expires, the player who has advanced further into opposing team territory wins the round. Examples of points gained: Elimination, Early Flag Grab (Team possession of the designated flag must occur in the first 75 seconds of the round), Flag Hang, and Domination Bonus (3 Eliminations, Early Flag Grab and Flag Hang).
PLAYER ELIMINATIONS AND CALLING HITS
When a player is hit (eliminated), that player must immediately exit the field, may raise their hand and quickly exit towards the nearest boundary. Players must use the most direct route to exit the field. Players cannot verbally announce "HIT", communicate or use any other signals to announce their elimination. This is to minimize hit players from communicating with their team. When a player is hit while carrying the flag, the flag must be dropped to the floor immediately within a reasonable radius of being hit, before exiting the field.
ELIMINATION RULES AND DEFINITIONS
Any bodily contact with an illuminated Tracer BB is considered a hit. Any direct hit on equipment that is in contact with your body is considered part of your body. This includes all gear and Airsoft guns. If two players hit each other at the same time, both players are eliminated.
Friendly fire counts as a hit. Dry fires, ricochets and unilluminated BB hits do not count. No melee or verbal kills (bang bang, surrender, etc). No minimum engagement distance.
PENALTIES DESCRIPTION
Penalties and fouls are designed for fair play. Only the head referee can administer penalties. Penalties will result in losing points and or disqualifications. Standard penalties will result in points lost for the team. Major penalties will result in points lost, and may result in player DQ when accumulated. Examples of points lost: No Call, Late Call, Slow Exits, Blind Fire, Headshot No Call, Any restricted communication from team/players not in the game, and or from eliminated players in the game. This includes audio or physical communications by eliminated players from the moment they are hit, Full Auto Fire, and Gun Not Touching Gate at Start.
HOUSE FPS/JOULES AND TOURNAMENT RULES = 350FPS/1.4 JOULES MAX
Actual limit may be determined by field based on hosting field's policies. Tracer Units required on all Airsoft guns. Tracer BBs required for all Airsoft guns. Players will chrono before each event. 1 finger on the trigger, 1 pull and release = 1 shot. No ramping, burst, binary, trigger walking or any advantageous programming of FCU. No blade, paintball or extended triggers. No launchables, grenades, lasers, or flashlights. No unsportsmanlike conduct, including but limited to verbal and physical violence.
