2nd Friday Art Night - feat. Abigail Henthorn
More info soon!
Abigail is an artists who uses yarn to create fiber drawings. She utilizes various weaving and knot tying techniques such as crochet, embroidery, latch hook, and tufting to generate diverse marks.
She finds her subject matter from the natural world. Exploring nature's individuality, Henthorne investigates the worlds most rare living creatures - endangered species. From the land to the sea, she finds beauty in the naturally agreeable color palettes that nature has bestowed upon these threatened animals and reimagines them with fiber.
Abbeys' work has been hanging in the shop for a while and has drawn a lot of attention. Join us Friday to meet Abbey in person and to see her new works!
2nd Friday Art Night is always family friendly!
