Join the YMCA of Southern Interior BC for our 2nd Annual Make a Splash fundraising event on Saturday, October 3 at the H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre.💦
All funds raised will support the YMCA Okanagan Swims Program, providing all Grade 3 students in School District 23 with free swim lessons and water safety training, helping to ensure every child has the skills and confidence to stay safe in and around water.
🐥Adopt a Duck: For just $25, you can adopt a duck and enter it into our lazy river duck race. Each duck adopted provides one third-grade student with free swimming lessons. Be sure to join us in-person to watch the race and cheer on your duck!
✨🦆Adopt a Mega Duck: Want to make an even bigger splash? For $100, you can adopt an exclusive Mega Duck and enjoy a premium race experience, plus the chance to win special prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Each Mega Duck adopted provides four local children with free swimming lessons. Only 50 Mega Ducks available!
🏁Quack & Splash Team Challenge: Teams of four will battle it out aboard giant inflatable ducks in a high-energy race in the H2O's pool. Registration is $100 per team ($25 per person), with splash-tastic prizes up for grabs.
🍔Hungry Duck Café: Come hungry! The Y's Hungry Duck Café will be open for business, serving up delicious BBQ-style eats by donation.
This exciting community celebration offers fun for the whole family. Best of all, adopting a Duck, adopting a Mega Duck, or registering for the Quack & Splash Team Challenge includes event admission for you and your family!🎟️
