A motorcycle ride to honor a man that stood for our rights, especially Free Speech and Freedom to Assemble. This is not meant to start an argument, but to show that we believe that EVERYONE has a voice and NOONE should lose their life over what they say or what they believe. All bikes and skill levels welcome. That said, this is a pro - Charlie ride (no you don't have to agree with his views or politics), meaning we are celebrating his life and courage to stand up and speak his piece, calmly and respectfully to anyone and to listen to their point of view, no matter what it was.
An attack on him is an attack on anyone, from any background, with any differing opinion.
We will come together not as Red or Blue, Republican or Democrat, Right or Left, but as Americans. People that deserve to express ourselves with out fear of violent retaliation.
Gathering at Holiday, and then headed up Highway 61, end goal is to stop in front of the State Capitol in St. Paul, Mn.
Arrival between 10:15 A.M. and 10:55
Kick Stands Up at 11:00 A.M.
I will post the route so that others may join along the way if you want.
Expect to arrive at the Capitol at/around 12:00 P.M.
Park for Photos then head a short ways (a block) to the Fire Fighter's Memorial Public Parking Lot at 101 W 12th St, St Paul, MN 55155.
Park, Take Pictures, Have Conversation, and Take in the Day. This will be a bring your own snack and hydration ride. Maybe find somewhere after to eat. But the main goal is just to show that everyone from all corner's of the world have the right to assemble and speak their opinions safely.
