Cotton Creek Men’s Golfing Association (CCMGA) at Craft Farms, located in Gulf Shores, Alabama will be hosting our 2nd Annual "Tee up for the Troops" Charity Golf Scramble on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, with proceeds benefiting Warrior Legacy Ranch (WLR), a local veterans charity located in Robertsdale, Alabama. Sponsor/Donor Proceeds will benefit Warrior Legacy Ranch providing veterans a place to reconnect with their unit members in a supportive environment, fostering camaraderie to prevent veteran suicide and to strengthen bonds between veterans and their communities. Over 30,177 active-duty personnel and veterans who have served in the military have died by suicide since 9/11. Only 1% of our nation serves in our military and as first responders. They are all selfless patriots putting their lives on the line so we, the citizens of the U.S., can be free and safe. We are extremely privileged to live in a very patriotic community that honors and cherishes our country’s selfless veterans and first responders!
The Warrior Legacy Ranch is located on 20 acres in beautiful Baldwin County Alabama and will provide lodging for 40 veterans at a time with handicap accessible amenities, communal spaces designed specifically for group sharing sessions, on-site recreation. Specifically, the proceeds from the tournament will help fund the completion of the building at Warrior Legacy Ranch - donations are tax-deductible.
The building will provide:
amenities for disabled veterans
a communal living area
common dining area for 40
a fully equipped kitchen
12 rooms and one bunk room with 32 beds
swimming pool
outdoor seating
and other recreational areas
Last year, the communities of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Craft Farms, Fairhope and surrounding communities generously donated over $35,000, as well as time and enthusiastic support to make Tee Up for the Troops charitable event a success. We are proud to say the donations from last year’s tournament purchased three wheelchairs for two very deserving veterans.
