About this Event
Join us for the 2nd Annual Triple F Ranch Regenerative On-Farm field Day, Thursday, February 26, 2026, happening at 6520 7th Avenue, Hanford, CA. Doors open at 8:00AM (Pacific Time). With the program running from 9AM – 3:30PM. Be sure to be early for the annual lifting of the flag by SDS drone at 9:00am followed by a surprise. This full-day brings together accomplished speakers, live in-field demonstrations, and valuable networking opportunities with fellow farmers and agricultural experts. Discover practical, farmer-powered approaches to sustainable agriculture and learn innovative techniques to boost productivity while reducing reliance on external inputs. Explore and discover!
Highlights include:
- Natural Solutions: See how affordable, natural options can be simpler and more effective than expected. (KNF) Korean Natural Farming, Johnson Su, Vermicompost and more. Learn what they are and how to make them.
- Beneath the Surface: Observe the hidden world happening under the soil.
- Future Outlook: Explore emerging trends and why regenerative practices may be the only sustainable path forward.
- Adding from Last Year: Take natural built inputs and discover how to apply them, wet or dry, spread, or spray. Extracting machine or compost tea brewing, see it in action. Get the answers from some of the top in the business.
- Hands on Science: Participate in a soil moisture infiltration and slake demonstration, to witness water resilience in action. Rain simulator platform provides a detailed demonstration of soil health concepts. This presentation shows how water moves through the soil, highlighting the effect of soil quality, structure and aggregation on infiltration rates. Effectively demonstrate the difference and importance of capillary and gravity flow in the soil. Triple F Ranch is saving water usage year after year and the rain simulator will show you how.
- How Can It Be: Farming without pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or synthetic fertilizers.
- Consumer Choices: Understand why health- focused products often outweigh price in purchasing decisions.
- Building Your Brand: Learn practical steps to establish a strong identity and connect with direct markets for your products.
Any crop can benefit from these practices—so invite a neighbor and be part of this hands-on, knowledge-sharing experience. Mark your calendars and get ready to connect, learn, and grow together. Take back the farm!
Whether your just hearing about Regenerative Farming or your an experienced veteran there is something for everyone. Farming and land management that improves soil health, water cycles, biodiversity and ecosystem vitality, rather than just extracting from them. Come experience first hand at Triple F Ranch.
There may only be one path forward. Come listen to Mark McAfee speak and find out why now is the time for regerative farms to thrive in tough times.

Agenda
🕑: 09:10 AM - 09:40 AM
Preston Smith
Host: Preston Smith
Info: How using natural inexpensive products are easier than you think. He specializes in KNF (Korean Natural Farming) these practices save money over traditional fertilizers and pesticides.
🕑: 09:40 AM - 09:55 AM
Richard Felipe
Host: Richard Felipe
Info: How to overcome odds in challenging economic times. Regenerative farming love and hate relationship.
🕑: 09:55 AM - 10:25 AM
Andie Marsh
Host: Andie Marsh
Info: Live soil lens, what's happening under the soil. Microbial communities are responsible for cycling nutrients, outcompeting pathogens, and improving soil structure – evaluating and enhancing these communities in soil & compost is our area of expertise.
🕑: 10:25 AM - 10:30 AM
Break/Transition field demonstrations
🕑: 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM
Field Demonstrations
Host: Don Thomas
Info: Demonstrations include slake test and infiltration test and how health soils help impact water infiltration.
🕑: 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Field Demonstrations
Host: Richard Felipe
Info: How to brew compost teas. Extract Johnson Su with Midwest Bio Reactor
🕑: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Field Demonstrations
Host: Ethan,Ron, Haydon, Jared and Stan
Info: Demonstrations include applying natural products in different forms, all made on-site. Learn when why and what method works best.
🕑: 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM
Field Demonstrations
Host: Preston Smith
Info: How to make (IMO) Indigenous microorganisms (JMS) Jadam Microbial Solution and other( KNF) Korean Natural Farming inputs. IMOs are beneficial bacteria, fungi and other microbes naturally present in a specific environment. Crucial for ecosystem health, acting as natural biofertilizers, decomposers and soil enhancers. Learn how to make natural products that work and don't break the bank.
🕑: 12:30 PM - 01:30 PM
Lunch - Sourced locally, a taste of the valley
🕑: 01:30 PM - 02:15 PM
Rain Simulator
Host: Don Thomas
Info: Rain simulator is a scientific or engineering device designed to artificially replicate natural water conditions in a controlled environment, compare soil types, no till cover crop, conventional tilled, forest and pasture all collected from the area. Measures soil erosion, infiltration and runoff by precisely applying controlled, artificial rain to a soil plot to study the land's response, allowing you to assess soil health, water movement, and the effectiveness of management practices. It quantifies how soil properties, vegetation, and surface conditions affect sediment loss and water absorption under specific, repeatable water conditions. Understand nutrient/water availability. How soil may impact groundwater recharge and runoff. See soil permeability and how the water travels through the different soil types. All designed to teach you the impacts of Texture, Structure,Compaction, and Organic matter. One of the best ways to learn what Regenerative soil means.
🕑: 02:15 PM - 02:40 PM
Speaker 4
Host: Mark McAfee
Info: Learn and experience how to establish a brand and how to find direct markets for your products. Why the consumer will pay more for healthy regenerative products. How did Mark Mcafee outlast all odds and build a brand that is taking shelf space.
🕑: 02:40 PM - 03:00 PM
Q & A All speakers of the day along with special guests
Info: Question and answer from the days speakers. If you didn't get an answer during the session or just thought of something. Take it home with a group.
