About this Event
Join us for the 2nd Annual Non Partisan “Rap w/ Ya Rep – Community Vision Party,” a youth-led, youth-driven event focused on engaging young leaders with key community representatives.
This year, we are honored to welcome Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist as our keynote speaker! Lt. Governor Gilchrist’s participation highlights his dedication to youth civic engagement, making this event a unique opportunity to discuss the future of our community.
This event, organized by the Thredz Educate Empower & Engage Youth Program, provides an opportunity for youth and the Muskegon community to engage directly with local representatives and discuss the issues that matter most.
Our youth leaders have been hard at work registering over 100 new voters, and this event is one of their final opportunities to Bring Voice to Vote before the November 5th Election.
Panelists will participate in important discussions about polarization, government trust, gentrification, and affordable housing.
