2nd Annual Pike Fishing Derby on Big Lake
Two ways to win: Longest pike or most pike caught
First place for adults (longest fish): Mercury 20 hp outboard motor
2nd place for most caught: $500 cash
3rd place for second most caught: $350
First place for kids (longest fist): $500 cash
2nd and 3rd places also win cash prizes!
Other prizes include a seat on a halibut fishing charter with Reel 'Em Inn, fishing rods and gift cards to 3 Rivers Fly and Tackle, plus many more!
Registration opens at 6am at Burkeshore Marina.
15 and older: $30
14 and younger: $10
Cash Preferred.
Demos on delicious pike preparation and boat cleaning. Kid's activities and prizes as well. Food and drink available.
Fishing licenses required. Free boat launch from Burkeshore Marina, but please do not park in any slip. Proceeds go to the Big Lake Chamber of Commerce. Please bring a cooler to keep the pike on ice - we will have ice and a few boxes if you forget your own cooler.
