Homeplace & Hog Hollow are dill-lighted to announce the date for our 2nd Annual PICKLE PALOOZA!Come spend an afternoon celebrating pickles and all things pickled, fermented and preserved Saturday, September 20, 2025.
Festivities begin at 2:30pm and continue into to night!
FREE Fermentation Demos, Pickle Picnic Market and live music. Food and drinks available for purchase, as well as Pickle-rific gift basket raffle benefitting Dig In Yancey Community Garden!
Your friendly FCS Agent will be on site from 3-6:30pm set up in the lawn!
🥒 She'll have her handy gauge tester available to check dial pressure canner gauges, so if you haven't had yours checked, swing by with your lid. It takes less than 5 minutes and gives you another layer of protection for safe canning.
🫙 There will also be great information about canning and other food preservation techniques, fun freebies, and more!
