By popular demand, Pick Your Own Sweet Corn Weekend is back!
For years, Dahlia and Calvin — known around town as the Berthoud Sweet Corn Kids — have been a highlight of summer with their roadside corn stand, serving up fresh ears and even fresher smiles.
Last year, Dahlia was diagnosed with a tumor in her cervical spine the day our roadside stand was set to open. Most of our time during the selling season was spent at Children's Hospital, so Pick Your Own Sweet Corn was born and became a huge hit, with over 1,000 people coming to pick corn over the three days.
We are doing it again!
We are inviting you back to the farm for a Pick-Your-Own Sweet Corn weekend!

When: Friday–Sunday (Choose your day!)

• Friday, August 14th 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday, August 15th 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Sunday, August 16th 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Where: Johnson Farm

1132 East State Highway 56, Berthoud, CO 80513

Event Details:

• FREE to attend – no ticket cost, just bring your family and friends!
• Suggested donation: 50¢ per ear of corn you pick.
• RSVP via Eventbrite or Facebook. Donations can be made in person via cash, Venmo, or PayPal.
• All proceeds go directly into Dahlia & Calvin’s savings for their first vehicles (NOT for medical expenses — those are covered).
• Walk the rows, pick as much as you want, and enjoy the farm atmosphere.

PS: Since last year, Dahlia has undergone three different surgeries, but is now cancer-free and getting back to normal teenage life.
