My name is Jody and on March 10th 2023 mine and my families lives changed forever when my oldest son lost his life to an overdose and now it is my lifes mission to bring awareness to addiction and overdose... So come on out to the 2nd annual overdose awareness poker run, thrown by myself, Jaime's Mom's House and Widow Sons Vulcans Forge chapter MRA, registration opens at 10 and goes until 11 when you register you will receive a list off the stops and you can go at your own pace because it is an unguided ride and we will have 5 stops and will have 3 prizes to hand out, the best hand, the second best hand and the worst hand, there will also be raffles, door prizes, food, entertainment and alot of good times... I am involved with a non profit organization called Jaime's Mom's House, which was started by Melissa Moyer when her son last his life to an overdose many years ago, and we help people and families that are affected by addiction in any way, so all the money raised will be getting donated to a deserving recovery house, I will be putting together "recovery hope kits" which will include but not limited to toiletries, socks, clothes blankets etc for people that are coming into a recovery house with nothing, it is suppose to give them hope at the start of their road to recovery!!!
