Our beloved annual miniature luncheon is back! PLEASE NOTE, our location has changed to an all-new spot for this event!
Our luncheon will take place on:
Saturday, October 5
from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm
at Trinity Oaks
located at 728 Klumac Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144
The event will feature a hearty lunch along with some presentations focused on historical miniatures, miniature artistry, and miniature collecting.
Terri Correll will entertain with a Bespaq Miniatures program which celebrates the artistry and craftsmanship of Bespaq Furniture. Whether you’re a seasoned collector or a curious enthusiast, this program offers a rich and immersive experience into the world of miniature design.
You'll also enjoy a special presentation explaining the story behind one of the museum's newest miniature additions: Lynn Frank will share the backstory of "Rachel's House" and the details of its construction and completion, and show closeups of the numerous Native American miniatures displayed throughout this southwestern treasure.
There will also be a “Mini Mart”, a silent auction, a chance to win some special items, and lots of gifts and special treats!
After the luncheon, join us at the museum for a tour and reception of our new miniature collection along with the dolls and toys that have always been a part of the museum.
The cost is $80 for museum members and $85.00 for non-members.
About our 2024 New Beginnings theme:
We have many new beginnings in our lives – starting school, going away to college, starting a career, getting married, having children, changing jobs, and moving into a new home. Some of these are significant milestones and often times they are life-changing.
The NC Museum of Dolls, Toys & Miniatures is also in the process of a “New Beginning”.
When the museum began, it was to honor Amy Morris and her love of dolls, and over the years, thanks to our generous supporters, it has grown into a much larger focus and this year we are facing our own “New Beginnings” in a new location with new exhibits and new opportunities!
All proceeds from the event will go to help continue the work at the new museum location.
