“Honoring the Life, Understanding the Death of Malcolm X”

This year’s program invites the Charlotte community to come together in tribute to one of the most transformative and fearless voices in the history of the Black liberation struggle. Malcolm X’s legacy continues to challenge, inspire, and call us to action — and this event is dedicated to deepening our understanding of both the man and the movement he embodied.

We are honored to welcome renowned scholar, historian, and author Baba Zak Kondo as our featured guest speaker. Known for his groundbreaking research on the assassination of Malcolm X, Baba Kondo will deliver an in-depth and enlightening presentation that goes beyond the headlines — exploring the political forces, untold truths, and enduring significance of Malcolm X’s life and death.

✊🏾 Come ready to learn. Come ready to be inspired.

Admission is free, but space is limited — register today to secure your seat.
