January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month! Join us for the 2nd Annual Light the Darkness 5k to raise awareness and put and end to Human Trafficking!

Description
Our mission has not changed, as we continue to raise awareness and funds that benefits the prevention, identification, rehabilitation and support of survivors of those who have been sexually exploited. This year, we have linked arms with Sara's Roots and Called Out who have partnered together to provide essential resources and transitional housing for survivors of human trafficking in Brevard County. Proceeds from Light the Darkness will benefit this project.
This is an evening out and back BEACH race that will start on the beach in front of the Hilton Cocoa Beach Ocean Front.
Head Lamps, Neon & lighted apparel and accessories are encouraged!

Add on the official Private Get Outdoors for Freedom After Party for appetizers and private cash bar. You will meet our sponsors, guest speakers and ally's on how your efforts are helping victims of human trafficking!

1 FREE Drink Ticket per race participant then Cash Bar.
This is the official launch of our Get Outdoors for Freedom Spring & Summer Series. If you love the outdoors and want to contribute to the solution in ending human trafficking, you can walk, run, paddle or hike....All for the Freedom of others!

Pre-Race PACKET PICKUP
1/16 and 1/17 - 5:30-8:00pm at Booch Komboocha @ 63 N. Orlando Ave
SCHEDULE FOR RACE DAY
1/18 - SATURDAY @ Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront, 1550 N. ATLANTIC AVE., Cocoa Beach, Fl 32931
3:45 PM - Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup Opens
5:15 PM - Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup Closes
5:25 PM - National Anthem
5:30 PM - 5K Start!
7:00 PM - After Party Begins at Hilton's Longboards Tiki Beach Grille!
Music, Beverages, Raffle, Silent Auction. Giveaways and doorprizes (food optional)
Improved Monitoring for entrance to After Party!
All finishers will receive a finisher medal.
AWARDS:
Awards in addition to medals to: 1st, 2nd, 3rd overall male and female, master male and female.
Prize awarded for best lighted participant!
Fees:
$30 - 5K Race Only - Register Before midnight on 1/3
$35 - 5K Race Only - Register after midnight on 1/3-1/7
$35 - 5K Race Only - Register from 1/8-1/18
$65 - **Bundle** - 5K Race and After Party - Must Register Before midnight on 1/3
$40 - Only After Party - Must Register before 1/10
** We will be monitoring the "after-party" allowing only those registered entrance in to the "after-party" area.
