2nd Annual Let Your Light Shine Memorial Outing: In Memory of Laura TenPass

Old Hickory Golf Club will be hosting the 2nd annual Let Your Light Shine Memorial Outing, in memory of Laura TenPass, on Saturday August 15th, 2026.
For more than 25 years, Laura served as the music teacher at Central Wisconsin Christian School, where she
inspired generations of students to discover their God-given gifts through music. Whether she was teaching
elementary students their first songs, directing choirs, accompanying countless soloists and ensembles on the
piano, or leading worship through music, Laura's passion was unmistakable. She believed that music was a gift
from God and encouraged every student to let their light shine. More importantly, she lived those words every
day, using her talents to point others to Christ with joy, humility, and grace.
Laura was also known for her unwavering faith and joyful spirit. Even through her courageous 13-year battle
with colon cancer, she continued to shine the light of Christ, encouraging those around her with hope and
perseverance. Her life was a beautiful example of what it means to faithfully use the gifts God has given us to
bless others.
To honor Laura's legacy, proceeds from this year's outing will support the Music Department at Central
Wisconsin Christian School as they raise funds for a new grand piano. This piano will help provide students with
opportunities to develop their musical talents through classroom instruction, choir, band, performances, and
worship experiences—continuing the work that Laura loved so dearly.
We invite you to partner with us by becoming an event sponsor or donating a silent auction item (gift basket, gift
certificate, product, service, or unique experience). Your generosity will help preserve Laura's legacy by
investing in the next generation of young musicians while supporting Christ-centered music education.
