The second annual La Crosse 48 Hour Film Festival, presented by the La Crosse Film Academy and hosted by the Rivoli Theatre in downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin, welcomes existing and aspiring filmmakers from the Driftless Region to join this exciting community-building experience centered in local storytelling. Featuring short films created in just 48 hours by local filmmaking teams, the Festival aims to honor and celebrate local storytelling artists and lovers of cinema while increasing awareness, access and skills around filmmaking. New this year - multiple entry categories, more prizes, and a new creative element!
Team registration opens April 1 and spots are limited. Check back here on April 1 for the link to register teams.
The Festival on May 2 at the Rivoli Theatre is free to attend although donations are welcomed. Limited reserved seating is available for Festival Donors of $25+ per ticket. Reservations are strongly encouraged.
