Here's an opportunity to support our 2nd Annual Kitsap's 5K Cancer Walk put on by Poulsbo Lions and North Kitsap High School Leos. The walk takes place March 22 at NKHS, but sponsors need to step up by Jan. 31 by emailing [email protected]. Proceeds benefit St. Michael's Cancer Center in Silverdale.Sponsorships range from $100-$1,000, and you get your name/business on the back of the T-shirts being sold for the event. The front of the T-shirt features this artwork by Poulsbo Middle School student (and our Peace Poster prize winner) Sarah Munoz. To order T-shirts for $20 apiece, email Karl Ostheller, our Leo liaison, at [email protected], no later than Feb. 22.
