The Jefferson Avenue Center, in partnership with Washington Gladden Social Justice Park and with support and guidance from Poetry Caviar, invites you to the 2nd Annual It Is In Your Hands Poetry Slam in honor of Nelson Mandela Day.
This year's theme is Speaking Truth: Social Justice and Equity — an invitation to show up, speak up, and honor Mandela's legacy through the art of spoken word.
Free to attend. No ticket needed for the audience.
