Forest City Sport Dogs is BACK in Perry for our 2nd annual Crossroads Cluster walk-up event! Not only are we back, but we are going to be in an even better location than last time with easy access to Dock, FastCAT, and the indoor activities! Our UpDog field will be running as a walk-up choose your own game type of event so that you can easily jump in whenever you have a free time slot between all the other activities. We will have personal best tags for teams that earn new high scores, so keep track of your PB's and let the judges know if you think you set a new PB! Game rules will be explained to any player that needs it! UpDog is very beginner friendly so don't feel like you can't ask questions 🙂
All games will be offered including Freestyle. We will be able to look up any song on Spotify to play through our sound system. Agility crossover games will only be offered in the afternoons - official times will be announced closer to the event or the day-of the event.
*IMPORTANT CROSSOVER NOTE*
We will be implementing Hoops to replace in the tunnel in FunKey and possibly Frizgility. Frizgility we can either run Jump - Hoop - Jump or Jump - Jump - Jump. We can change out the Hoop in Frizgility for a Jump upon request. FunKey will have to run with a Hoop in place of the tunnel.
New to UpDog? UpDog is the first AKC titling disc organization for dog sports! Check out their website here: https://updogchallenge.com/ to learn more about UpDog in general, game rules, and how to get started!
Creating an UpDog Team: https://updogchallenge.com/membership/
Go to this page and thoroughly read through the instructions! Teams are free to create and you can activate the lifetime membership (one-time cost of $20 per team) at any time so you can start tracking your titling and achievement progress.
