We know horse showing can look very daunting and expensive. We also understand the cost of trying something new can add up quickly. Over the years, we have collected some quality and gently used show clothing that may not be 100% in the big show trends, but it is still relevant to smaller shows and 4h shows. Everyone deserves to look their best and feel good about showing even if you or your family have economic limitations. We have all started somewhere and we are happy to give back to our communities and help others as we were helped when we started out.
So, we are hosting an event to help match youngsters and new commers with clothing they will need for the show season. We will have on-hand stylists to help you find items that fit your needs and match your horse or pony.
This event will be on May 2nd from 1 pm to 4 pm at Seasonal Sunrise Farms, just north of Jackson. We have western clothing, hunt seat clothing, and some tack and accessories that will be available to rent at a very minimal cost. (less than $10 per clothing item, most will be $5 and under) All clothing and boots will be clean and come on hangers. We also have some tack and horse gear that will be available as well to be rented out as well.
How it will work, once we get you in our system, you or your child will be able to go through our racks of clothing and items, try on clothing, and get styled for your show season. Items will be "rented " for a VERY low cost to you, just to cover our cost of cleaning. Part of the "rent" will be a deposit that will be returned when the items to us at the end of the season.
We will also have a mobile tack shop on-site with lots of specials for the remaining horse care needs you may need!
