2nd Annual Cowboys for Kids Christmas Benefit Tournament

For those of us blessed to spend our mornings on the water, there is something special about using a day of fishing to help make Christmas morning possible for a child in our own community.
🎣 Anglers, this is your chance to fish for a cause and help put Christmas gifts in the hands of local children who need them most! 🎄
2nd Annual Cowboys for Kids Benefit Tournament — Saturday, December 5th!
Last year, thanks to the generosity of ConroeBass anglers, sponsors, and supporters, we raised $4,000 and helped 40 local children from financially struggling families receive gifts on Christmas morning.
For every $100 raised, a $100 Walmart gift card is presented to a child’s family so they can purchase gifts for their child. An application and vetting process helps ensure every donation reaches local families who truly need it.
That $4,000 meant more than 40 gift cards. It meant 40 children experienced the joy and excitement Christmas morning should bring.
We hope you will join us for this great cause. For this specific charity event, boat takeoff order will be determined by registration order. Register early, secure an earlier boat number, and help us reach even more children this Christmas.
Please note: If you register early and later request a refund, $80 of your entry fee is nonrefundable. That $80 is set aside for the children immediately upon registration.
Sponsors and Donors Needed
We are actively seeking sponsors and donors for this event. All ConroeBass staff members are working the tournament without compensation. This is a strictly volunteer-run event, and every dollar raised goes toward helping local children.
We have numerous awards to purchase, and we are also seeking items to auction or raffle. One hundred percent of the proceeds from these auctions and raffles will go directly to the children.
If you have anything outdoors-related to offer, we would love to hear from you. Donations could include:
* Guided hunts
* Guided fishing trips
* Sonar or electronics classes
* Coolers
* Turtle boxes
* Outdoor gear
* Other physical items or experiences
Whether you are able to provide a sponsorship, donate an item, or offer an outdoor experience, your support will help make Christmas brighter for local children.
Receipts will be available for donors and sponsors after the event is completed.
Please act quickly. We need time to organize and auction or raffle donated items during October and November.
Thank you to every angler, sponsor, and donor who made last year special. Let’s do it again—and make an even bigger impact for local families! 🎣🎁
