2nd Annual Bike & Scooter Safety Rodeo

School's just begun and we all want kids to be safe on the streets. To kick the school year off right, Bikers and Scooter(er?)s are invited to the 2nd Annual Bike and Scooter Safety Rodeo.
Kids will hear laws and tips on how to be safer on bikes and scooters; learn how to give bikes a basic safety check; practice the bike and scooter skills they learn on an obstacle course, and can register their bikes with the TCPD.
On Sunday, August 9, between 2-4pm, join community volunteers in Tega Cay Elementary's bus lot (kindergarten side of the school). (Park in the main lot then ride/roll/walk over to the bus lot.)
The Tega Cay Leo Club and Tega Cay Healthy Kids appreciate support from Tega Cay Elementary and its PTO, Tega Cay Police Department, Bike/Ped Coalition of York County, Carolina Thread Trail, and any Catawba Ridge Riders who are not out of town - because it takes a village and we've got a good one!
