Join us for the Underground Academy Hackathon at USC Upstate's Upstate Crime Analysis Center—this isn't your typical hackathon! We're bringing together data analysts, law enforcement, human rights advocates, students, and survivors to disrupt those profiting from human trafficking. No experience required; all skill levels are welcome.
Teams will use open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools to identify suspects and provide leads to participating law enforcement agencies. Come learn about human trafficking from a variety of experts and get hands-on experience in the world of open-source investigations!
This live, 2-day event in Greenville, SC, runs on Nov. 14 (8:30-5) and Nov. 15 (8:30-3) at USC Upstate's Greenville Campus. Open to adults 18+. Early bird registration is $150, increasing to $175 after October 31. Sponsored by the Upstate Crime Analysis Center and Switch.
