About this Event

2nd Annual Embracing Black: A Healing & Self-Advocacy Conference for Black Women

Theme: From Vision to Movement

Join us for the 2nd Annual Embracing Black Conference, a transformative day dedicated to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of Black women.

Last year's inaugural gathering reached full capacity, bringing together200 Black women from across the region to learn, connect, heal, and celebrate in community. This year, we return with an even deeper commitment to creating a safe, affirming space where Black women can explore what it means to live well, heal intentionally, and move forward with purpose.

Our 2026 theme, From Vision to Movement, invites participants to reflect on essential questions:

Who am I?

How do I define myself beyond expectations, roles, and labels?

What do I want?

What vision do I hold for my health, relationships, purpose, and future?

Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, fireside conversations, experientials, and community engagement, participants will explore the following tentative topics:

• Love, Marriage, and Black Women's Well-Being

• Building and Sustaining Healthy Relationships

• Healing from Workplace Trauma and Stress

• Recognizing and Honoring Heart-Centered Intuitive Choices

• Healing Through Grief and Loss

• Understanding the Menstrual Cycle: What Is Normal?

• Navigating Perimenopause and Menopause with Confidence

• Conscious Living as a Pathway to Vitality and Optimal Health
