From 21–23 August 2026, the 2 Counties Independent Film Festival (2CIFF) being held at MK Gallery and SKY ROOM Cinema, Milton Keynes, bringing together filmmakers, actors, writers, producers, directors, students and film lovers for three unforgettable days celebrating the very best in independent cinema.
Featuring 80+ officially selected films from 16 countries, 2CIFF showcases powerful stories, emerging talent and award-winning filmmaking across an exciting programme of feature films, shorts, documentaries, animation and international cinema.
But 2CIFF is far more than just watching films.
Throughout the weekend you'll enjoy exclusive filmmaker Q&As, inspiring industry talks, live panel discussions, networking events, special guest speakers, behind-the-scenes insights into filmmaking, and countless opportunities to meet the people behind the films.

The festival concludes with our prestigious Gala Awards Ceremony, recognising outstanding achievements across more than 26 award categories and celebrating the filmmakers whose work has captivated audiences throughout the weekend.
