29th Annual St Johns River Cleanup at Blue Springs State Park

Welcome to the 29th Annual St Johns River Cleanup at Blue Springs State Park!

Date: Saturday, April 5, 2025

Location: Blue Springs State Park, 2100 W French Ave., Orange City

We will be cleaning the St. Johns River this year on Saturday, April 5th. This will be a perfect day to show our river some love by helping to remove trash from the waterway and the surrounding land to prevent it from washing into the water. Join us at Blue Springs State Park from 8 AM to 11 AM to help make the waterway safer for both people and aquatic organisms. This year we have a choice of a plush river otter or a hat as a thank you gift for your participation. There is an added bonus of a potted tree! We are also encouraging kayakers and canoers to join in as well. Please note that the swimming area is closed again this year at Blue Springs State Park. Participants should bring water to drink and wear sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, mosquito spray or lotion, work gloves, and comfortable clothing. You may also bring rakes, shovels, trash grabbers, canoes, or boats. We will have trash bags for you to use.
