28th Annual Strong Ale Festival at Pizza Port Carlsbad

Twenty-eight years in, and the Strong Ale Festival is still our favorite way to welcome winter at the beach. Over two days we’re pouring 60+ big, bold, high-ABV beers from near and far: double and triple IPAs, roasty imperial stouts, warming barleywines, and barrel-aged heavyweights. VIP sessions get first crack at rare bottles you won’t see poured anywhere else.

Trade the boardshorts for a hoodie, grab a glass, and stick around Carlsbad Village a little longer than you planned. One day or both, we’ll save you a spot.

VIP 1-Day – $75
Choose Friday or Saturday:

• Friday, Dec 4: VIP 4–5 PM, then GA 5–9 PM
• Saturday, Dec 5: VIP 12–1 PM, then GA 1–5 PM

Includes 1 festival glass, 10 tasters, rare bottle pours, and complimentary food during the VIP hour.

VIP 2-Day – $100
Both days:

• Friday, Dec 4: VIP 4–5 PM, then GA 5–9 PM
• Saturday, Dec 5: VIP 12–1 PM, then GA 1–5 PM

Includes 1 festival glass, 10 tasters each day, rare bottle pours, and complimentary food during both VIP sessions.

General Admission 1-Day – $50
