Two-day collegiate kendo tournament with Yutaka Saga-sensei (hanshi 8 dan) as shinpancho and Eisuke Tamai-sensei (kyoshi 7 dan) as fukushinpancho.Day 1: open division, single-elimination individuals competition.
Day 2: round-robin undergraduate school teams competition. As part of our teams round-robin format, participants will be guaranteed to play ~5 matches before quarterfinals (depending on the total number of teams).
Time-permitting, there will also be godogeiko after the tournament each day, where participants will have the opportunity to keiko with kendoka and high-ranking sensei from Japan and across the United States and Canada.
