Please join us on Saturday, May 23rd at 2PM for the 28th Annual A Day of Remembrance at Field of Honor in Owensboro Memorial Gardens featuring speaker, Nicholas Hetman.
Other activities include the VFW 696 Honor Guard, a salute to our fallen heroes, the Community Band, singers and a dove release. Everyone is invited to be a part of this uplifting Memorial Day celebration.
Please bring food drive donations to Owensboro Memorial Gardens. 100% of donations will go to a local food bank that helps local veterans fighting hunger. A list of their most needed items will be posted on our Facebook page.
