Sycamore Bones has been bringing their flavor of Appalachian folk infused rock n roll to bars around Western Carolina for the better part of a decade. Led by its two songwriters, Andrew Massey and Cory Kinal, Sycamore Bones has garnered praise from tavern patrons and fellow musicians alike. Their relatable lyrics, passionate performances, and a knack for harmony
has made them a standout in the regional music scene.
This year they are thrilled to be playing the 27th Annual Caldwell Musicians Showcase. The event, which is organized by member Andrew Massey, will feature a set of mostly original songs and a couple of special guests along the way.
The show's second half will have Andrew playing bass and backing an outstanding collection of regional talent. This set will cover a varied selection of artists, from Jerry Lee Lewis to Amy Winehouse and everything in between. The highlight of the evening will be the string quartet accompanying the band. Led by luthier and musician Robert Gucwa, the quartet will add a moving and dynamic soundscape to some of your favorite songs.
The 27th Annual Caldwell Musicians Showcase will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir, NC. Tickets are available in advance or at the door for $11. Special prices for children and students can be inquired about by contacting the box office.
