The 26th Annual Riverwalk Tribute will honor Andrew Britton, Walter B. Duke, III, Susan Renneisen and Stephanie J. Toothaker, Esq.About this Event
Riverwalk Fort Laduerdale’s premier annual event, Riverwalk Tribute, honors community leaders that have made a significant, positive contribution to Riverwalk and the City of Fort Lauderdale. In an evening VIP reception and awards ceremony on the 8th floor of the Riverside Hotel overlooking downtown Fort Lauderdale, the New River and our scenic Riverwalk, guests will celebrate the honorees and our Riverwalk with other Riverwalk members and partners, business, community and civic leaders.
The VIP Honoree reception from 5:00 - 6:00 pm will kick off the evening, continuing with open bar, a silent auction, heavy hours d'oeuvres and live entertainment. A ceremony recognizing the honorees and featuring presentations from the City of Fort Lauderdale will conclude the evening.
Riverwalk Tribute is a fundraising event for Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. A portion of funds raised from Riverwalk Tribute and other Riverwalk events benefit Riverwalk's park enhancements and improvements program, as well as supporting our free public programming and communications.

Walter B. Duke, III • President, Walter Duke + Partners
Walter B. Duke, III has spent more than five decades shaping Fort Lauderdale and Broward County—helping define the skyline, strengthen the regional economy, and supporting the continued growth of downtown along the New River. As President of Walter Duke + Partners, Duke built a nationally and globally respected commercial real estate valuation and advisory services practice. While serving as Mayor of Dania Beach he helped guide regionally transformative initiatives that expanded infrastructure and supported job creation. Today he leads one of Broward County’s most important initiatives, the 10‑Year Affordable Housing Master Plan, assembling public and private partners to address a critical need and secure significant investments.

Susan Renneisen serves as Vice President of Community Affairs & Special Events at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood where she has spent more than two decades guiding major events and philanthropic partnership, shaping it into a globally recognized entertainment destination. She oversees high‑profile productions — from red‑carpet premieres to large festivals — while driving community initiatives that strengthen nonprofit impact across South Florida.
A committed mentor and advocate, Renneisen supports emerging women leaders and Seminole Tribal members through professional development programs. In Greater Fort Lauderdale, she contributes her leadership as a board member of the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County and the Ann Storck Center, among many other organizations.

Stephanie J. Toothaker, Esq. is Chairwoman & Chief Strategist of TOOTHAKER.org, and an AV‑rated attorney recognized for her expertise in land use, zoning and complex public‑private development. Known for navigating multi‑agency processes with exceptional efficiency, she secures approvals for high‑impact commercial, residential, hospitality and mixed‑use projects.
Toothaker’s work includes major projects on the Riverwalk corridor, notably Raintree Riverwalk Residences, Nautica and Rivr Lofts, all transformative projects. She is the current Chair of the Downtown Development Authority and holds leadership roles across major civic and cultural organizations.
